PU 55 PU Foam Sealant
Classification:
Product Introduction
Product Introduction:
This single-component polyurethane foam sealant is specifically designed for thermal insulation and installation applications in the construction sector. It is suitable for bonding, fixing, installing, sound insulation, thermal insulation, sealing, moisture-proofing, gas barrier applications, filling structural voids, construction gaps, and various cracks.
Application Temperature:
Surface dry time: Approx. 10-15 minutes. Cuttable in approx. 30-60 minutes.
Can temperature: +10°C to +30°C.
Ambient temperature: +10°C to +30°C.
Optimal application temperature: +18°C to +25°C.
Temperature resistance range of cured foam: -30°C to +80°C.
The foam adheres to concrete, coatings, masonry, wood, and plastic surfaces, but will not adhere to Teflon (PTFE) or silicone.
The cured foam is non-hazardous to humans.
Note: The above data was obtained under laboratory conditions at 23°C and 50% relative humidity with a water spray environment.
Application Notes:
Before application, remove loose dust and oil from the surface and lightly spray the surface with water.
When filling vertical gaps, work must be performed from top to bottom (note foam expansion characteristics).
Foam flow rate can be adjusted by controlling the trigger.
Uncured foam can be removed using a specialized cleaner.
Tack-free time on foam surface is 10 minutes. Foam cures in approx. 1 hour and stabilizes within 3-5 hours. (All data obtained under laboratory conditions).
This product is not UV-resistant. It is recommended to apply protective coatings (e.g., cement mortar, paint, etc.) over the cured foam surface.
Usage Method:
Shake the can vigorously for 1 minute before use.
Clean and dampen the application surface before applying foam.
Invert the can and connect it to the applicator gun. Open the flow valve by turning counterclockwise and adjust the flow rate.
Apply the foam from bottom to top, filling only about 1/2 of the desired volume.
Foam begins curing after 10 minutes. Further handling can be performed after 1 hour.
Excess cured foam can be trimmed with a sharp knife. The surface can then be treated with cement mortar, paint, or sealant.
Safety Precautions:
Inhalation of gas from this product may irritate eyes, skin, and the respiratory system. The cured foam is non-toxic.
Avoid direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry place below +50°C.
Prohibited to burn or puncture empty cans after use.
Keep away from open flames and contact with flammable or explosive materials.
Flammable gas mixtures may be generated during application.
Ensure adequate ventilation at the worksite.
Operators must wear work gloves and safety goggles.
Smoking is strictly prohibited during application.
Uncured foam is highly adhesive and can penetrate fabric fibers. Avoid contact with clothing.
Keep out of reach of children.
If foam contacts eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
If foam contacts skin, wash with soap and water.
Storage Conditions:
Store in a ventilated warehouse at temperatures between +15°C and +35°C. Keep away from fire sources, heat sources, and flammable materials. Must not be stored upside down.
Shelf life and Storage:
Shelf life of 9 months.
